Why This Smoothie Works So Well!
This quick mango banana smoothie with oats recipe is a perfect, healthy version when you need a quick summer breakfast on the go or a satisfying treat or drink. Take a look at why it is your favourite:
Perfect Texture: Mangoes naturally have a rich, fleshy consistency. When blended—especially with frozen mango, banana, and yogurt—they create a thick, delightful, milkshake-like texture without the need for any artificial thickening components.
Provides energy: A combination of simple carbohydrates (from fruit) and complex nutrients (such as protein and healthy fats from yogurt, and milk) slows down the rate at which the body absorbs sugar. Consequently, there is no risk of sudden blood sugar spikes or the subsequent rapid drops that lead to fatigue or weakness (crashes).
Packed with nutrients: Mangoes are rich in Vitamin A, Vitamin C, and antioxidants, while the added yogurt provides probiotics and calcium.
No added or refined sugar: The natural sugars from fully ripe mangoes and bananas provide sufficient sweetness, so there is no need to add extra sugar.

Five-Ingredient Mango Banana Oats Smoothie
You love this mango oat smoothie so much on hot days. This creamy, thick, delicious, and healthy banana mango smoothie is packed with just simple kitchen ingredients that you already have on hand. So you will need only:
Mango: I prefer using fresh mangoes for this smoothie, but you can use frozen ones if you like.
Banana: It’s best if you freeze the banana beforehand! This gives the smoothie a nice, cold, and creamy texture. However, if that’s not possible, you can simply use a fresh banana.
Milk: You can use any type of dairy or non-dairy milk for this smoothie—such as homemade almond milk, cashew milk, or oat milk!
Yogurt: Greek yogurt is the best choice if you want a thicker, creamier smoothie. But you can use any yogurt for this smoothie. The best part is, yogurt is an amazing fermented food that helps your gut health.
Oats: Use rolled oats for a healthy version. But you can use regular oats too. It makes the smoothie thick and creamy, has rich in soluble fiber.
Sweetener (optional): As you know, mango and banana is a natural sweetener. But if you want to use more sweet you can add honey, maple syrup or sugar, whatever you like.

Tips for the Healthy Mango Smoothie –
Making this delicious mango drink is quick and easy. Here are some tips for you:
Use frozen fruit – Smoothies taste best when made with frozen fruit. If you want the smoothie to be thick and smooth like ice cream, peel a ripe banana, cut it into pieces, place them in a zip-lock bag, and store it in the freezer.
Add Sweetener and lime to taste – If the fruit tastes tart or unripe, start by adding just half a teaspoon of lemon juice and then add a little more honey to taste. If the fruit is very sweet, increase the amount of lemon juice as needed; for very sweet mangoes, but I don’t use lime juice for this recipe. Lime juice is optional; if you like, you can add it as per your taste.
Don’t add ice: Ice cubes make the recipe cold, but they water down the taste, make it feel watery in every bite, and reduce the flavor of the smoothie.
Is it possible to make this mango smoothie vegan or dairy-free?
Absolutely! You can make this mango smoothie using regular dairy milk, but it is also possible to make it without it. If you are looking for homemade alternatives for some of the ingredients like cashew milk, almond milk, or oat milk or whatever you like.
